Noh makes a lasting first impression, offering six original compositions and two arrangements on this debut release. From gentle melodies to hard hitting grooves, Noh cultivates an infectious energy that her band carries throughout the record. Her most recent work, the “Traveler’s Suite” is a reflection of the experiences, impressions, and thoughts she has gathered throughout her time in the United States as a person coming from a different culture. “Nohmad” will be the first snapshot of Noh’s compositional work and the beginning of an exciting journey as she continues to work and grow with her band. Nick recorded baritone saxophone and bass clarinet on this album.

Foley is a a folk sextet based out of Brooklyn New York. Their music is driven by beautiful melodies, thought provoking lyrics, and lush arrangements. “The Joke Turns Sad” is their third full length record, and is Nick’s recording debut with the band. Drawing from a wide palette of woodwind colors on this record: Nick recorded tenor saxophone, bass clarinet, and flute on this project.

Star Stuff (2020) by Nice Music

“Star Stuff” is a science fiction inspired disco tune written by Danny Barbati. This was collaboration done during the quarantine led by Nick and Danny. Nick recorded saxophone and bass on this track. You will also hear from Eric Smith on trumpet, and Cassie Burge on vocals. Cassie and Danny recorded their parts in New York, Nick recorded his in Boston, and Eric recorded his in Connecticut- the result is a very socially distant, but groovy track.

Stretching the Sky (2020) by The Frank-Nilsson Contemporary Jazz Orchestra
“Stretching the Sky” is a collection of original compositions written by band leaders Travis Frank and Allan Nilsson. The album consists of contemporary jazz compositions written for big band, and one piece for saxophone quartet. Nick recorded the baritone parts for the big band and the saxophone quartet, as well as doubled on flute. This is Nick’s big band album debut.
